SUKKUR, May 18: A woman was killed on the pretext of karo-kari in Mirwah village near Karampur, Kandhkot-Kashmore district, on Friday.

Shah Mir Ogahi had been suspecting that his brother’s wife Mumtaz Khatoon had illicit relations with a man. He shot her dead in their house.

Police took the body to Kandhkot hospital and, after post-mortem, handed it over to relatives.

In another incident, a man was killed in Mirpur Buriro village near Thul, Jacobabad district.

Three unidentified armed people opened fire on Mohammad Ramzan Buriro, killing him on the spot.
