KARACHI, May 19: Lac-klustre conditions prevailed on the cotton market on Saturday as the diminished stocks and absence of buying interest from millers kept the physical trading dull and dreary.

Although New York cotton prices rebounded, they could not influence the domestic market where prices remained on the lower side.

The Karachi Cotton Association spot rates remained unchanged from Friday. The following deals were reported on the ready counter: 200 bales from Lodhran at Rs5,350, 200 bales from Uch Sharif at Rs5,550 and 200 bales from Malisi at Rs5,800.
