ISLAMABAD: Public accounts committee (PAC) on Monday rejected the reference filed by Interior Minister Rehman Malilk against the Sharif brothers over money laundering, DawnNews reported.
The PAC adopted the stance that the reference filed against the Sharif brothers was beyond committee’s domain of action.The committee clarified that it could not investigate the case as it was not an investigative agency, sources said.
The PAC has informed the interior minister regarding rejection of his reference.
