LAHORE: Rugby squad has been announced for the HSBC Asian five-Nation Div-III Rugby Championship scheduled to be held in Malaysia from May 30.

Pakistan Rugby Federation (PRF) secretary Arif Saeed said that the team would leave for Malaysia on May 24 to attend a three-day training camp there.

Pakistan will take on arch-rivals India on May 30 while in the other match Guam will face Indonesia.

Winners of both matches will play against each other and both losing sides will take on each other on June 1, the secretary said.

He added that the winner of the winners’ match would play against winner of Div-II as part of the Rugby World Cup qualifying round for the 2015 Rugby World Cup scheduled to be held in London.
