KARACHI, May 24: A meeting of Sindh Judo ad hoc committee formed by the Pakistan Judo Federation took place here under the chairmanship of Mr Abdul Malik on Thursday.

The committee informed all the judo organisers and judokas to avoid participation in activities organised by the Sindh Judo Association (SJA), which has been suspended by them.

The committee also thanked those standing by them on the decision of suspending the association.

The committee informed all Sindh judo organisers that the ad hoc committee will complete the elections of the district Judo bodies in the province in due time following which they will be calling a meeting with SJA in order to reach a solution to the problem for the betterment of Judo throughout the Sindh.

Earlier in the week, SJA had decided to go to high court against the elections being held by the Pakistan Judo Federation, calling them fake.

Pleading their case to the Pakistan Olympic Association had resulted in their making an arbitration committee that will hold its first hearing on Saturday.
