LAHORE, May 26: National Master (NM) Amjad Hafeez Bajwa continued his domination by registering seventh victory on the third day of the Punjab Chess Championship here on Saturday.
Amjad snatched a sensational victory against NM Mohammad Waqar in the eighth round.
Other contestants closely following him are Feroz Alam, Rashid Pervez and Mudassar Iqbal.
The ninth and final round of the championship will take place on Sunday.—Sports Reporter
