Pakistan, with predominantly conservative population, is not ready for Facebook and Twitter. Even the middle class, educated and computer savvy is not the exception.
It is easily provoked by almost anything that does not suit its view point. To keep people at peace they should continue the ban till the society gradually learns to accommodate, difference of opinion. The ban will be good for them and the world.

There are thousands of anti-Christian sites run by Muslims. There are worse things mentioned in these sites.
There is no hue and cry by Christians to ban these sites. Christianity is strong enough to withstand these insults hurled at it, un like other religions.

But that should apply to the traditional religionists also including including the followers of Islam.

I think if we learn to ignore these people they will just fade away. Read comments on Yahoo or any other social site. Sure you cannnot hang em all.
