CHAMAN: Several people were feared dead after a car-bomb exploded on Monday in the suburbs of Chaman near the Pak-Afghan border, DawnNews reported.

The bomb went off while the car was parked in a house, causing damage to houses in the area.

Several people were also injured in the incident but the exact number of casualties could not yet be ascertained, sources said.

Unidentified armed men took over the house and barred journalists from covering the incident. Video cameras of some media representatives were also broken by the men, DawnNews reported.
