Agree with DAWN's editorial regarding political adventurism of CJ that is highlighted by two cases of Memogate and the PM contempt, though there has been a series of other instances of improper power grabs by the judiciary. It's ironical that while CJ calls for accountability and control of an unbridled judiciary, his own actions smack of "unbridled" exercise of judicial powers.that has torn to shreds the fundamental principles of separation of powers of the three branches of our govt under the Constitution of Pakistan. In maliciously going after the PM and the PPP parliamentarians and functionaries,it seems the CJ is embarked on a journey of personal vendetta against the Govt. Consequently, tremendous damage has already been done to the stability, national interests and the economy and the institutions of our country.

it seems Dawn is too besotted with denouncing any attempt at bring to book the unprecedented corruption and nepotism by PPP and its allies. It feels nauseating to go through editorials and op-ed where every second article is designed to justify the massive misdeeds of PPP led coalition. Is Dawn independent any more?

Reply to Akhtar and others: you may be saying well however it is still admiring that judiciary has atleast highlighted something which was impossible in the past. I think presently the judiciary is in the initial stage of its evolution. There is always room for improvement. Let the judiciary grow. To criticize the judiciary to improve its work is good. However, it is irrational to blame it partial. Moreover, I think the steps which the apex court has taken regarding memogate scandal and Swiss letter still deserve kudos instead of criticism because atleast there is an institution which can be called the voice of downtrodden people of Pakistan.
