RAWALPINDI, May 29: The residents of Arya Mohallah have been facing acute water shortage for the last four days.

The people living in various streets of the locality have been receiving no water for the last many days. The water shortage coupled with long hours of load shedding has made the lives of the residents miserable.

The people while talking to this scribe said the authorities concerned were least interested in resolving the issue as they had filed a number of complaints but to no avail.

They said that the officials should take steps in view of the increased demand of the water. They should install more tube wells in the area. — A Reporter
