KARACHI, May 31: The National Museum of Pakistan and the Sindh culture department will launch an ‘Object of the month’ series on Friday.
To mark the International Children’s Day, the museum has chosen a bronze statuette of the Egyptian child-god, Harpocrates for display as the object of the month.
The statuette is wearing a long sleeveless tunic (with the left shoulder uncovered) and stands with conjoined heels.
