Spring
Late at night, I heard a peaceful voice, I looked at the sky, And saw stars shining, The friendly face of the moon, Took away all my fear of gloom!
I stayed there for some time, Till the emergence of the morning light, The grass moved with the wind, Gave a pleasant sign, A sign that it’s the start of the spring!

My little brothers
I have two little brothers, One’s favourite wrestler is the Undertaker, The other is small and uses a walker, One makes bed wet though he’s 11, The other does the same in his diapers, Both have problem with eating, Both make same mistakes By treating my mom like a maid!
Both make the room dirty, Always I help in house chores, Always they sit at the doors, Both are very naughty, Both make my toys faulty.

My mother
Oh mother, you are so awesome, You are so beautiful like blossom.
You make the sun shine on a cloudy day, When I am sick you kiss the pain away.
You make flowers bloom in spring, It’s you who cures my broken wing.
You love me without any reason, You are there for me in every season.
Your love is honest and so pure, I’m sure, sure, sure!
A sweet smile that guides me the right way, You are the sunshine to light my day.
You are brilliant, And are better than a million.
You spread your fragrance in my world, Mom, because of you, I now know love.

Exams
Computer practical And English are easy; But learning computer makes me dizzy!
In science we have to learn a theory; Which is very hard and indeed scary!
Now exams are here, A terrible nightmare, Who will fail and who will fare better?
Urdu and Islamiat are all right; They don’t keep us up all night!
But understanding grammar Is sometimes a problem; It’s like our head is Being hit by a hammer!
Our happiness the exams will shatter; By learning literature and grammar!
Now it’s goodbye to exams, And welcome TV and games, We can now have lots of fun, Till the results come!
