GUJRANWALA, June 5: The sessions judge ordered on Tuesday registration of a case against the husband of a Japanese woman for snatching passports of her three children.

Maryam Irfan (who was named so after conversion to Islam) told the court that Irfan Saeed Butt contracted marriage with her a few years ago and they had three children who were now between five and seven years. She said Irfan was not giving custody of her children to her.

The court handed over the children -- Sehrish Irfan, Ayesha Irfan and Ali Irfan -- to her on last hearing.

The petitioner told the court that her husband now sneaked into her house in People’s Colony and snatched the passports and other documents of her children to stop them from proceeding to Japan.

The judge ordered registration of a case against him and his arrest. — Correspondent
