ISLAMABAD: Unknown gunmen in Islamabad have shot dead a lawyer and his brother.

According to police officials Advocate Ashraf Zameer and his brother were killed when the gunmen opened fire on their car near Thana Shehzad Town.

The gunmen subsequently escaped after carrying out the attack. The two men were rushed to the hospital but died on the way, officials said.

Police have now begun investigations into the killing.
