One day matches are supposed to be played by youngsters in their 20s and not by players in their 30s.Please don´t waste the young talent.

I agree – get rid of the dead wood including Misbah. Bring in Hammad Azam – why is he being ignored????

This performance showed why Pakistan are no longer any good in ODIs. Forget the fielding as they have never been good at it or the ill-discipline with extras (contrast with SL who didn't give away an extra until after the 10th over!). Even on a good batting track the batsman struggled. They don't know how to rotate the strike anymore or be positive and play aggressively and take the attack to the opposition. Afridi is wasted in the middle order because he has neither the skill nor the temperament for a chase especially when the run rate is 6 and above. Hafeez doesn't convince as a batsman and never has (he's at best a bits and pieces player) and others like Umar Gul and Umar Akmal do what they always do: play well in one game and rubbish again in the next. And then others like Younis are clearly not up to the mark anymore. The word 'consistent' is an alien concept to this team. Bring back Razzaq and Kamran Akmal since at least they will be better options than Tanvir and Sarfraz. The latter is is an average keeper like Akmal but a far lesser batsman. It was painfully obvious to all (apart from the selectors) watching Sarfraz bat in this game on a decent batting wicket that does not have the necessary skill nor firepower which is needed. Same could be said of Tanvir.

There were defineitly some terrible decisions by the coaches and kaaptan. Sri Lanka does not have that strong of a bowling attack but they looked like stars today!
Younis Khan needs to go. We need the Javed Miandad type to come in after the opener falls to come and stabilize not to play the tuck tuck game. He is a waste in the batting lineup. However, to his credit, Younis is a leader figure in the team but by now we have plenty of experienced boys (Gul, Hafeez, Akmal, Ajmal) and they need to start standing up on their own.
Finally, Umar Akmal was NOT out. Terrible call from the ref. Nonetheless, we played poorly.

I think misbah and yunus khan for god sake must stay way from cricket i think if this both playr not in the team it wil be a marical for p.c.b..

Please bring in HAMMAD AZAM instead of YOUNIS KHAN – he has done his time and it was good then. He surly is a burden on the Team. Also MISBAH – his time is done. How can you have TWO batsmen who are only good for 5 days of Test Cricket!

When will PCB come out of its shell????
