Every woman of ambition has to fight her century with its own weapons so here are some of the strategies you can use if you are being harassed at your workplace.

Tell people about it
There is safety in numbers so you must confide in a few people who can look out for you. Warn other females.

Document it
Send the culprit an email clearly stating that his overtures are unwelcome. He is mostly likely to be scared by this act since you may have marked a blind copy to others.

Record it
Even the most basic of cellphones have in-built cameras and voice recorders. Get tangible evidence so that your harassment complaint is more that just your word against his.

Report to HR
Even if they do a terrible job out of it, you must report the harassment. You must also document your interactions with HR. In case you do decide to quit, you can use the documented evidence to file a case with the Ombudsman against the company for failing to follow the law.—S.S.
