CJ summons full-court meeting on Friday

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry summoned a full-court meeting of all the 17 judges of the Supreme Court on June 15 at 1500 PST, DawnNews reported on Wednesday.

The meeting will be chaired by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

A full-court meeting is conducted in Supreme Court’s committee room to discuss the administrative aspects of the apex court; the meeting also scrutinizes the code of conduct of the SC’s judges.

The meeting is likely to discuss the situation in the aftermath of the suo moto notice taken by the SC against Arsalan Iftikhar on his alleged corruption, sources said.
