QUETTA, June 12: A spokesman for the Frontier Corps, Balochistan, contradicted on Tuesday allegations levelled by the Baloch National Voice that aircraft had bombed areas in Kohistan Marri in which a number of people were killed or injured.

The statement containing the allegations was issued by the BNV and published in some newspapers.

The FC spokesman said the BNV’s claim about air strikes in Kohistan Marri was baseless and unfounded.

He said that no such incident occurred and that the media should have confirmed the BNV statement before publishing any report on it.
