We love every word recited by Khan saheb and every word said/written on him. Loved this piece. Btw, I think, Mehadi Sabeb was born in 1927 not in 1930.

i wish i could have touch his hands once in this life time…..with lots lots of respect and love…..

God give him peace. He was a marvelous singer. His ghazal singing had so much to offer that people will be analyzing it for decades. How many times have I played his albums, starting from reel to reel tape in the 60s to CDs now. I saw his last concert in Detroit area when he could barely carry a note, his sons and instrumentalists carried him. But the memory of several earlier concerts will stay with me.

We lost another maestro after Jagjit . Who can forget ' Gulon mein rang bharey —-' by Ustad Mehdi or pundit Mehadi or the legend Mehadi. No other Mehadi .
