ATTOCK, June 13: The district police arrested two proclaimed offenders (POs) who were involved in murder cases on Wednesday.
The sources said Bahtar police arrested Zubair Khan from Pakpattan district, who had allegedly killed a village fellow Azam Khan.
Since then he was at large. However, the police traced him through his mobile phone and arrested him.
In another attempt, Injra police arrested Saifullah allegedly involved in a double murder case. The police had fixed Rs50,000 head money on him.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Ameen, the resident of Baryar village, reported to Saddar police that he was attacked by three village fellows Haji Ahmed Khan, Masood
Ahmed and Noor Zaman with weapons over a minor dispute.
Similarly, Mohammad Munir, resident of Kinal Village, reported to New Airport police, that he was allegedly attacked by a village fellow Mehtab Ali with a knife over a petty issue.—Correspondent
