ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Thursday passed a resolution in favour of its Speaker’s ruling refusing to disqualify Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, DawnNews reported.

The resolution was presented by Pakistan People’s Party leader and Federal Law Minister Farooq H Naek.

According to the resolution reposing confidence in NA Speaker Fehmida Mirza, her earlier ruling in favour of the prime minister can not be challenged on any forum.

Mirza had also refused to forward the Supreme Court’s reference to the Election Commission of Pakistan against Gilani.
