KARACHI: Asjad Iqbal of Punjab continued his awesome run in the Jubilee Insurance National Ranking Snooker Championship when he defeated former World Champion Muhammad Yousuf to register his fourth win at Karachi Gymkhana Billiards Hall on Friday.

The 20-year old compiled a break of 82 in the second frame defeating Yousuf to enhance his chances for a place in the knock-out stage.

Farrukh Usman Brohi, who had suffered three defeats in the first three matches, produced the major shock when    he upset top seed Muhammad Asif 4-1 on day four.

Shehram Changezi also kept his winning show in the event by chalking his fourth win in a row.

However Shehram was given    a hard time by Abdul Rauf Kurd of Balochistan before grabbing a 4-3 victory.

Sharjeel Mahmood of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also grabbed his fourth win by beating Zahoor Ahmed of Balochistan 4-1.
