Laptops: ill-spent money
June 16, 2012 by From the NewspaperTHE Punjab government spent billions of rupees on ‘Sasti Roti’ scheme that unfortunately did not yield anything.
Similarly almost a sum of Rs22 billion was spent on the laptop scheme but it is sad to see that schools in Punjab are in a poor state.
Many students are compelled to study in graveyards. The money wasted on the above-mentioned projects would have helped revolutionise the system of education in Punjab.
