LAHORE, June 15: The Punjab government on Friday extended the suspension period of the PMS Officers Welfare Association president and the secretary general for another three months.
Association President Rai Manzoor Nasir and Secretary-General Shoaib Tariq Warraich were suspended from service after they along with many other members of their service had staged a protest at the Civil Secretariat on March 18, 2011.
All others were reinstated but both the leading office-bearers of the association fighting for their rights are still suspended from service.
POTINGS: Section Officer Shahid Mahboob, awaiting posting in S&GAD, was posted as section officer (Con-I).
Mujahid Abbas, Section Officer (Welfare-IV), S&GAD, was transferred and posted as Deputy District Officer (HRM), Attock, against a vacant post.
Narowal District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Khalid Nawaz was transferred and posted as Faisalabad District Consumer Court presiding officer vice Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmad superannuated on June 14, 2012.
Lahore District and Sessions Judge Mujahid Mustaqim Ahmad was transferred and posted as Rawalpindi District Consumer Court presiding officer vice Uzma Akhtar Chughtai who was repatriated. — Staff Reporter
