ISLAMABAD: At least three people were killed and two were severely injured as a gas cylinder exploded inside a house in the country’s capital on Monday, DawnNews reported.

The house was located in Islamabad’s Burma Town area near Burma Bridge. The explosion was so powerful that it caused the building to collapse, with several people reported to be trapped under the debris.

Rescue teams reached the site of the incident and started rescue operations. Several people were feared to be critically injured due to the severity of the blast.
