Pakistan will regret this judgement. It has put Judiciary and Parliament on loggerhead for ever, just as earlier decisions put Executive and Parliament at loggerhead.

Hats off to the Judiciary for its wonderful verdict. There are more than one reasons why Y.R Gilani should have resigned much earlier. He was sticking to power through sheer abstinacy

We are at this turning point because the nation could not develop political acumen since its birth, as it remained under martial laws, most of the time; and martial law means no politics. This moment provides a political lesson to the nation that legal matters deserve attention. I am sure in the coming days we will face more such events that will teach lessons to the nation. Nations take years to get mature. The crises is a challenge to the politicians, I have hope and I pray that they must not disappoint the nation. For me anyone who takes part in politics is good, as I firmly believe that only politics has solutions to our problems; only politics can save a nation; and only politics can bring in progress.
