LARKANA, June 21: The 59th birth anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto was celebrated in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto with simplicity on Thursday.

A Quran Khwani was held on the premises of the Bhuttos’ mausoleum, which was attended among others by a large number of lady workers of PPP, local leaders and some provincial ministers.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, along with former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, arrived in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, laid floral wreaths on the graves of the four Bhutto martyrs and offered Fateha.

The management of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Chandka Medical College Hospital and district health office had set up camps to collect blood donations.
