LAHORE, June 21: Robbers plundered cash and valuables worth Rs2.25 million during five house robberies in the city on Thursday.Four robbers barged in the house of Fiaz Husain in the limits of the Lytton Road police station and took away cash and valuables worth Rs600,000.

Some robbers stormed into the house of Salma in Gujjarpura police station precincts and escaped after looting cash and valuables worth Rs500,000.

Some armed men burst into Mehwish’s house within the remit of Iqbal Town police station and looted cash and valuables worth Rs400,000, while gunmen entered the house of Zulfikar in Shahdara police station limits and robbed the family of cash and valuables worth Rs400,000.

Armed robbers barged into the house of Arsalan in Sundar police station limits and made off with cash and valuables worth Rs350,000.

Two robbers waylaid Shahbaz Ali in Sabzazar police station precinct and deprived him of Rs15,000 in cash, a cell phone and a motorcycle while as many robbers intercepted Abdul Mannan in Liaquatabad police station limits and relieved him of Rs100,000 in cash and a cell phone.
