THE parliamentarians are the representative of the public with a mandate to make vital decisions for the welfare of a country. They are not sent to the house to fill their pockets with tax money.

Maulana Fazalur Rehman’s decision at the time of voting for electing the new prime minister in the National Assembly was amateurish.

To devalue the power of a vote is a shameful act. It touches the bottom of moral responsibilities when you have the power to vote and you just surrender, saying that you are going to be unbiased.

By doing so, one is playing jokes in a serious matter. For Maulana Fazlur Rehman there was no need to submit his documents for the post of prime minister.

I urge the entire nation to please think before voting in the upcoming elections to change the destiny of our country.
