Ali Gul Pir on all things 'Wadera'

Comedian Ali Gul Pir has become famous overnight after his music video ‘ Waderai ka beta’ was uploaded on YouTube and garnered half a million hits in less than a week.

“It’s not just political, it’s social. It’s in synch with the times we live in,” says Pir about his video.

Without a doubt, Ali Gul Pir is the bomb, but the interviewer+interview structure were really disappointing (by DAWN's standards). Even an interview that's purposefully impromptu merits some structure and preparation; content-wise, these few minutes could've been far better utilised, with more insightful questions.

Yes ali gul pir is a comedian, we agree but this doesn't mean to conduct an interview in a way which seems like it is either unedited or done in a total unprofessional way. Not a DAWN standard
