MARDAN, June 27: The Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) and the See Jung University of Seoul on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding to begin exchange programme for MS and PhD students of 15 disciplines.

Vice chancellor of the AWKUM Professor Ihsan Ali and president of the University of See Jung Wowa Park signed the MoU during a ceremony held at the main campus of the AWKUM.

The AWKUM officials said under the MoU, scholars of both the universities would be exempted from admission and tuition fees.

Of late, Professor Zahoor Jan visited the South Korean university on the directions of VC Ihsan Ali to do paperwork for MoU signing and pave the way for exchange of MS and PhD courses with other universities.

After the visit, representatives of the See Jung University on Wednesday visited the AWKUM to sign MoU.
