KARACHI, June 28: Slow left-armer Adnan Kaleem produced a five-star performance to help Pakistan CC reach the final of the KCCA Abdul Dyer Cup cricket tournament with a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Vital Five CC at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground here on Thursday.

Adnan claimed five wickets for just 13 runs in six overs as Vital Five CC were shot out for 105 in 39 overs in the first semi-final. Only Saifullah Bangash offered some resistance as he scored 34 with the help of three boundaries.

Pakistan CC raced to victory inside 17 overs by making 109-2 with the left-handed Shaharyar Ghani striking eight fours and a brace of sixes in his undefeated 55 off 43 balls.

Pakistan CC’s opponents in the final will be decided on Friday when Nazimabad Gymkhana and Korangi Al-Fateh CC clash in the other semi-final.
