QUETTA, June 29: Two people were killed in separate incidents in the city on Friday, police said.

Hafiz Ghulam Haider, hailing from Sheikh Wasil area in Mastung district, was shot dead in Sariab area by attackers on a motorcycle.

The cause of the killing could not be ascertained.

The other man was killed by armed motorcyclists near the Government Degree College area. Identified as Mohammad Iqbal, the victim was a rice vendor.

Meanwhile, the bullet-riddled body of a man was found in Salehabad area on the outskirts of Khuzdar town.

Police took the body to the district hospital where he was identified as Bashir Ahmed. —Staff Correspondent
