Owned by the, Lakson Group The Express Media group consists of Express News, an Urdu language news channel, launched in January, 2008, Daily Express the country's third largest Urdu daily founded in September 1998 , which is published simultaneously from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan and Sukkar.
In April 2010, they launched The Express Tribune in Karachi, the first internationally affiliated newspaper in Pakistan. The paper is partnered with The International Herald Tribune which is the international edition of The New York Times.
