Faisal Raza Abidi resigns as adviser to the president

Senator Faisal Raza Abidi resigned on Tuesday from the post of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) president Karachi division, DawnNews reported.

Abidi also resigned from the post of President’s Adviser. He was made president of the Karachi division in November last year.

The senator had resigned because of health reasons, the PPP sources said.

The PPP has nominated Qadir Patel as the President of PPP's Karachi wing and Adviser to the President after Abidi's resignation.
