MANSEHRA, July 4: Balakot and Kaghan valley on Wednesday received heavy downpour. The rain which started in the afternoon continued till evening turning the weather pleasant.

The upper parts of Hazara, particularly Mansehra, are under a severe grip of hot weather like rest of the country.

The tehsil municipal administration has also invited the people to offer Namaz-i-Istasqa (prayer for rain) outside the press club to Thursday at 11am.

In the city and its adjoining areas, the underground water level is also receding because of the prolonged dry spell. —Correspondent
