SUKKUR, July 4: Jacobabad police claimed to have recovered a kidnapped brick-kiln owner, arrested two persons of an inter-provincial criminal gang and recovered six snatched motorcycles and two TT pistols.

Reaching reports here said SSP Zafarullah Dharejo told reporters at a press conference on Wednesday that brick kiln owner Abdul Hadi Sarki, who had been kidnapped from the Thull area three days ago, had been recovered from Manjhi Pur area of Balochistan without payment of ransom money.

Police have also arrested six persons but he did not tell their names.

He said the criminals after committing crimes fled towards Balochistan area and because of non-cooperation of Balochistan police, it was very difficult for Sindh police to take action against the criminals.

The SSP also said the CIA police had arrested two criminals of the inter-provincial gangs from Mitho Phatak area Jacobabad after an encounter.

They were Shehoon Gulwani Jakhrani and Gul Muhammad alias Moto Gulwani Jakhrani. But their accomplice Attur Jakhrani escaped.
