KARACHI: All the CNG stations in Sindh will remain closed for 36 hours from 9 pm Friday (July 6) till 9 am on Sunday (July 8).

According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) here Friday, the duration of the closure has been extended due to a shortage of gas supply from the Bhit gas field. The company regrets the inconvenience which may be caused to the CNG users during the shut down period.

It may be noted that all the CNG stations in Sindh were closed for 24 hours from Thursday (July 5) due to a sudden fall in gas supply from the Bhit gas field distribution system. But the company resumed gas supply from 6 pm on Thursday due to Shab-e-Baraat.
