KHAIRPUR Mir’s has a fertile land. It produces not only grain, vegetables, fruits but also gas. Date is the main source of Khairpur Mir’s revenue, but due to lack of industrial zone, its market price is very cheap and the producer does not cover his production cost.

While a local businessman who purchases dates at a lower price from the producer, sells it on a high price. Due to this situation, the producers’ confidence decreases and most of the producers cut their date trees.

The government should pay attention to the date industry in Khairpur Mir’s which is beneficial to the local producer as well as to the countries export.
