Traffic jams

Published July 9, 2012

LAHORE, July 8: People complain about lack of parking facilities and frequent traffic jams in front of the Lawrence Road gate of Lahore zoo.

Each Sunday visitors have to park their vehicles on the road towards Qadri Chowk as well as China Chowk. As such, vehicles block traffic at the intersection in front of the Lawrence Garden gate.

Inside the zoo, some visitors can be seen having arguments with cafeteria contractors who charge heavily for edibles. A 500ml soft drink bottle available in the market at Rs 35 is sold at Rs50. Other items are almost 20 per cent costlier than the open market.--APP
