WARSAW, July 9: Defeated Wimbledon finalist and world number two Agnieszka Radwanska, one of Poland's highest-profile sports stars, is to carry her country's flag at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.
The Polish Olympic Committee made the announcement on Monday, two days after the 23-year-old — a Wimbledon junior champion in 2005 — lost 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 to five-time title winner Serena Williams.—AFP
