LAHORE, July 9: The 67th meeting of Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) was held on Monday with Vice-Chancellor Prof IA Naveed in the chair.

The board considered the thesis reports of Ms Nadia Rashid M.Phil (Biochemistry), Dr Muhammad Arshad Iqbal Gardezi MPhil (Chemical Pathology), Dr Shahid Mahmood MPhil (Community Medicine), Dr Raees Abbas MPhil (Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology), Dr Imtiazud Din MPhil (Pharmacology), Dr Baber Usman MS (General Surgery), Dr Sarfraz Khan MS (Neurosurgery) and Dr Salman Younas MS (Neurosurgery).

The board approved the panels of examiners for the evaluation of theses submitted by Dr Naheed Humayun Sheikh PhD (Community Medicine), Dr Samar Ashraf MPhil (Anatomy), Dr Shakeela Ashraf MPhil (Anatomy), Dr Fauzia Sadiq MPhil (Chemical Pathology), Dr Ayesha Bhalli MPhil (Haematology), Dr Zill-i-Rubab MPhil (Haematology), Dr Shah Nawaz Gul MPhil (Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology), Dr Tanya Dogar MPhil (Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology), Dr Nadia Iftikhar Ahmed MPhil (Oral Pathology), Dr Sadaf Waris MPhil (Oral Pathology) and Dr Ahmad Obaid MS (Neurosurgery).

The synopses were also considered for registration of students in various postgraduate courses. — Staff Reporter
