The Humsafar Music was released in 2011 and qualified for the Music Categories. Humsafar the Serial extended more than was acceptable under LSA rules into 2012 and will therefore be eligible for the 12th LUX Style Awards next year.

95%+ of bollywood movies are a serious embarrasment. I wouldn't take non-desis to bollywood movies as then I have to suffer comments like "why are they speaking in English?" or " why they are speaking like Americans using words like dude, cool, etc?", or "why do bollywood movies need subtitles in English when the conversation is mostly in English anyway?". All these comments are very true indeed as is my reply " the Indians have a seriously low inferiority complex; but to be fair, Pakistanis are equally as bad" – Kaawa chala hans ki chall tou apni chaal bee bhool gaya. The films are usually vulgar and extremely superficial. India ranks 136th out of the 192 countries in the Human Development Index, as listed by the UN (The Economist 2012) – nearly 70% of its citizens live on less than US$ 2 per day (the UN poverty level index).

If Humsafar didn't qualify, how come the singer was nominated and won for the same??? Doesn't make any sense.

And please, I am not one of the "Hum-Suffers".
And was that song for original soudtrack??? Wasn't that sung first by Abida Parveen first, reference to the 1971 partition.

Perhaps, because this was one slightly modified?

Only question…..are there any other talents, artists, models or actresses or actor beside the same lot who got the awards?
Just check last five years of nominations – same names, same faces, and same performances……
when Pak Film/TV/Fashion will grow? When will we see new faces?

I think you should appreciate Ali Zafar's singing for what it is and not bring in India into every discussion. I just shows what an inferiority complex you (and by extension we pakistanis) have. We simply can't applaud our own without referring to our neighbor. Try to grow up. It is is never late
