KARACHI, July 12: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation administrator has said that a deal to purchase 100 ambulances, at a cost of Rs400,000 each, for the city from the Scotland Ambulance Services has been finalised.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, KMC administrator Mohammad Hussain Syed said that the KMC was maintaining 13 big hospitals and 346 small medical institutions, including maternity homes, dispensaries and clinics, in the city.—Staff Reporter
