Power failure

TOBA TEK SINGH: July 14: The Fesco has failed to restore power supply to various localities of the city and dozens of villages in the district which has been suspended for the last 36 hours because of a windstorm and heavy rain on Friday.

Hundreds of trees and electricity poles were also uprooted.

Residents of Mahmoodabad, Jugno Park and Wali Bhoy Town localities and the residential colony staff of the Government Commerce College said they were facing an acute shortage of drinking water due to the suspension of power supply and that they had to bring potable water from other areas.—Staff Correspondent
