When we first heard about a Pakistani filmmaker, Iram Parveen Bilal working on her feature length film, Josh, we were very keen to learn what the film was about and how the production is coming along. However, we also wanted to know why her name had been used in the recently released Bollywood film, Agent Vinod.

We discovered that Iram had met the director of Agent Vinod at a film festival, where he told her that he liked her name and would want to use it one of his film.

Her first feature film is a mystery thriller about a group of Pakistanis and their journey; its theme focuses on the power of an individual and how it can yield a change in a society.

Dawn.com met with Iram Parveen Bilal – Writer|Producer|Director, Saad Bin Mujeeb – Co-producer and lead actress Aamina Sheikh to find out more about Josh and its filming process.
