Kakar sahab probabily you are trying to say “since you didn’t see any action from the judiciary on May 12 incident you conclude that judiciary is not independent”. I feel sorry for our short sightedness.

I thought judges only express legal opinion when they are sitting on bench judicating a matter before court. I have no problem when judges retire and become politicians. Please correct me if I am wrong.

CJ statement with use of words MAY GIVE GUIDENCE iS DISCOURAGING? It is hoped ammended lawby parluament in
60 minutes for benefit of rullers only and not the remaining 180 millions be rejected and declared null and void.

i have only one question from chief justice and all pakistani's,if their answer satisfied me, i will accepted that judiciary is independent, question is that, if judiciary is independent then why chief justice is silent about the incident of twelve may.

Mr jan says previously decisions were made according to the wishes of the rulers but not now
so shouldn't all those judges beunished ?? or is there an NRO for them
judges slowly seem to be taking over the real authority of the state Wht the judges are saying now is what the dictators have said all,along

May we ask — whose duty it will be "to act as a bulwark against constitutional excesses and arbitrariness" — by the judges themselves?

Like usurping the job of the parliament to fire the prime minister?
