QUETTA, July 16: Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the chief of Balochistan National Party-Mengal, has said that Balochistan cannot be divided with emotional slogans and spreading of hatred in the name of language and nationality.

Addressing a public meeting of his party from Singapore via a video link, he said the politics of bias would neither benefit the Baloch nor the Pakhtun of the province.

He said that genuine heirs of the province wanted peace and it was regrettable that the Baloch were receiving decomposed bodies and suffering a lot of difficulties because of action being taken against them.

He said that on the one hand bullet-riddled bodies of the Baloch were being dumped and on the other they were being asked to raise a slogan in favour of Pakistan.

He said that violation of human rights was being committed in the province.

He paid tribute to his party workers, including Habib Jalib Baloch and Agha Noroz Baloch, who had been killed.

He said the government had continued policies of former dictator Pervez Musharraf as the operation in the province continued and so far the bodies of 480 Baloch had been dumped.

He said that Balochistan was a shared home of the Baloch, Pashtoons and Hazaras and it could not be divided with emotional slogans.

Jahanzeb Jamaldini said that his party had been struggling for the rights of people.

He said the Baloch and other nationalities loyal to Balochistan had equal rights in the province.

He said that Balochistan was not the land of Afghan refugees.

Agha Hassan Baloch, Javed Baloch, Mir Inayat Lango, Nasir Shahwani, Jamila Baloch, Nazir Baloch and Prince Agha Mosa Jan Baloch spoke on the occasion.
