LAHORE: Pakistan’s Saadi Abbas clinched bronze in the -67kg weight category at the 11th Asian Karate Championships being held in Tashkent.

According to a media release issued by the Pakistan Karate Federation, Saadi defeated opponents from Jordan, Indonesia and Iran.

In the last edition of the championships, held in China in 2012, Saadi had won gold.
