In Indian political constitutional scenario, The President has a very limited political power. He used to work as a rubber stamp. Most of his time passes visiting the organizations of disabled and orphan children. He works under the guidance and advices of Prime Minister or his parties Superimo. My thinking is it that a President of the country should not be the member of ruling parties so as to use his special power of punishments or bring them on justice if anyone found guilty in his access of power. Since Mukharji is a permanent member of Congress Party it not be possible for him to justify with the wrongdoings of his own party people.

NO big deal…..anybody can do that. Big question is will he act neutral when required (or show tilt towards to favor congress party??)

So naive of Mr. Mukherjee that he forgot to consult the politicians in Pakistan where they hold all the offices of the party for life. Now Asif zardari will stay chairman until like his wife etc. before him.

Thats one of the beauties of Indian politics even if there are some black spots. Mukherjee as soon as he was nominated quit not only from his post as Finance minister but also from the Congress party.
